Let’s talk about the most controversial call (so far) in a huge series that has had a few questionable calls to choose from. Yes, we are speaking of Matt Carpenter's seventh-inning ejection by home-plate umpire Will Little during Tuesday night's 12-4 loss to the Brewers. Some of the details we will never know. These three truths should be agreed upon by all:
1) Will Little should have been a bigger man. The home-plate umpire made a mistake. Then he let one mistake turn into two. He called a ball a strike. Corey Knebel's 82.4 mph knuckle curve was not a strike.
