He's eliminated more than 20 positions in the organization. Not even Mr. Marlin Jeff Conine was spared — unless he agreed to a significant pay cut and decreased role to remain on the team's staff. But the most important thing to Cardinals fans, especially the ones daydreaming of outfielder Giancarlo Stanton launching moon shots over the Arch, is the news of the Marlins' tentative blueprint for their offseason.
