As the president of the Negro Leagues Museum started recalling his favorite Lou Brock stories during his trip from Kansas City to St. Louis, he could feel his spirits lift.
He hoped sharing a specific one would have the same effect on those in the pews of Ferguson’s Greater Grace Church.
