LAKELAND, Fla. — The notability of a spring training home run can depend on all sorts of things.
Some, like the 460-foot cannon blast 20-year-old star prospect Jordan Walker crushed in West Palm Beach last weekend, reverberate through the Cardinals organization and send shrapnel all the way home to St. Louis.
Others, like the two Nolan Arenado knocked before departing for the World Baseball Classic, are expected and therefore overlooked.
