One of the seemingly few things MLB owners and players can agree on during the glacially paced negotiations about the still-standing lockout, according to the reporting of Post-Dispatch lead Cardinals beat writer Derrick Goold, is that both sides are on board with the designated hitter being used in the National League when the 2022 season starts.
