Major League Baseball was quick to share all of the things its teams can’t do during its lockout.
Signing free agents and making trades are off limits, of course.
Using players’ names and images for team purposes is not allowed. Even Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina have been scrubbed from the Cardinals' website.
Team officials, according to the Cardinals, can’t even grant interviews to media members, for fear of a lawsuit. (Apparently ringing the bell for Salvation Army is still OK, though.)
Just about the only thing baseball is allowed to do, apparently, is insult fans' intelligence.
