Happy Tender Day -- where front offices around baseball have their own Cyber Monday! They're trying to make deals, explore trades, and then make decisions by this evening on whether or not they will tender a contract to arbitration-eligible players. The Cardinals have one player, one, to make a decision on: John Gant. Shortstop Paul DeJong would be eligible for arbitration this year based on Super-2 status, but he signed an extension awhile ago, and that leaves one contract decision for the Cardinals by this evening's deadline. There are a few teams that are at least taking phone calls on outfielders -- Boston stands out, Seattle less so -- and the Cardinals have kept tabs on that market.
