Bader's three-run triple gives Cards 7-1 lead

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. • The bottom part of the Cardinals’ order continued to clean up on the New York Mets Sunday as No. 9 hitter Harrison Bader lined a bases-loaded triple to center field with two out in the third inning as the Cardinals hiked their lead to 7-1.

With two out, No. 6 hitter Jose Martinez, who had hit a three-run homer in the second, singled, as did Tommy Pham. Greg Garcia was hit in the leg by a pitch to load the bases before Bader drilled his hit over the head of center fielder Curtis Granderson.
