ST. LOUIS -- Harrison Bader added another defensive gem to his season highlight reel when he laid out to rob Bryce Harper of a hit in the fourth inning of Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

With a runner on first and one out, Harper stung a 96.9 mph line drive to left-center. Bader gave chase and covered 68 feet in 4.2 seconds, according to Statcast™, before making the diving grab. With a 55-percent catch probability, it was Bader's 26th catch of at least three stars this season.

Though he didn't take over as the team's everyday center fielder until after the club traded Tommy Pham last month, Bader has already established himself as one of the best defensive outfielders in the game.
