LAS VEGAS • If there has been one team at the winter meetings most vocal about its intent not to chase after free-agent outfielder Bryce Harper it is the New York Yankees. General manager Brian Cashman, according to New York reports, even sounded exasperated as he wondered why reporters continued to ask him about the former MVP.
It had something to do about a thermometer, a nurse, and a hospital, and before it got weird he essentially said that it doesn't matter what a patients temp is while he's ill, it matters how he feels leaving the hospital.
