MIAMI • The Cardinals opened up a 5-0 lead on the Marlins' best pitcher, and still Miami is starting to threaten with the same kind of comeback the Cardinals had a day ago in New York.
By the time Seung Hwan Oh entered the game to face the muscle in the middle of the Marlins' lineup, Miami had tightened the game to a one-run lead.
Oh retired Giancarlo Stanton and got a double play to end the game and keep the Cardinals chugging with a 5-4 victory Thursday night at Marlins Park.
Miami has chased Michael Wacha from the start with with a three-run burst in the sixth inning, and an added run against reliever Jonathan Broxton has the Cardinals clinging to a one-run lead.
