Reyes walked Oakland leadoff hitter Jake Smolinski on four pitches before finding his control and retiring the next three hitters. Reyes, routinely throwing in the high 90s, struck out Yonder Alonso and ended the inning on a foul out by Khris Davis.
There's the rumble of thunder at the ballpark, but the storms passing through will stay north of downtown.
