With Luke Gregerson on the disabled list to start the season, the Cardinals may have pushed to a deal that might not have sought out otherwise. Per Jon Heyman:
As of yesterday the reports were the Mets were interested in Greg Holland. Now a deal with the Cardinals seems imminent.
Greg Holland will have a physical tonight to finish deal with #stlcards. If he passes they have an agreement on short-term deal, however figuring where he goes to be ready, to get in innings is not yet clear.
