The St. Louis Cardinals have already acquired one outfielder before the MLB Trade Deadline, trading for Indians 1B/OF Brandon Moss early this morning. With that trade consummated, it does not appear the Cards will look for another outfield bat in the wake of Matt Holliday's trip to the disabled list.
Per Bob Nightengale of USA Today:
The #STLCards officially place Matt Holliday on DL, but no plans to jump back in the OF trade market

Holliday suffered a Grade 2 strain of his right quadriceps muscle last night. No exact timetable has been set for his return, but the injury news is a relief considering Holliday has torn the same muscle previously.
There have been rumblings and rumors about a potential connection between Detroit Tigers outfielder Yoenis Cespedes and St. Louis, but said speculation has not been substantiated by any credible MLB source.
