ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Sunday the club has recalled forward Jeremy Welsh from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Welsh, 27, was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 21, 2014 and is currently in his second season with the Wolves. This year, he has appeared in 11 games, posting eight points (five goals, three assists) and 11 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound forward has dressed in 25 career NHL games, including stints with Carolina and Vancouver, recording two points (one goal, one assist) and 10 penalty minutes.
