Having missed the postseason last year it was pretty vital that the Chicago Wolves made big strides this season. The “Baby Blues” put on a huge performance in the third period against the Iowa Wild who just couldn't handle the offense, letting in four goals in the final 20 minutes of action. The goals came from Wade Megan, Petteri Lindbohm, Ty Rattie, and Kenny Agostino.
It was also a big night for goalie Ville Husso, who made 26 saves for the shutout. It’s his first shutout in the AHL.
Newly signed prospect Jake Walman was a healthy scratch though the possibility of him playing one of the two remaining games this weekend is high.
