Sammy Blais may be suspended for two games, but Oskar Sundqvist is the player getting the brunt of it. Mike Hoffman’s visa has been approved and he’s taking Sundqvist’s temporary spot on the second line, joining Jaden Schwartz and Robert Thomas. Sunny benefited from his placement on the second line to the tune of two goals. Tonight? Sundqvist is on the fourth line with Ivan Barbashev at center and Kyle Clifford on the wing.
That means that the Blues’ fourth line, unless you argue semantics, already has three goals on the season. Not bad.
Aside from that adjustment, the lines are the same as they were for the Blues’ 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night.
