Last pre-season, Capitals forward Tom Wilson was given a two game suspension for a high hit to the head on Blues’ prospect Robert Thomas. He was then suspended the first four games of the 2017-2018 season for a high hit on Sammy Blais. In a continuation of his apparent pre-season tradition, Wilson laid this high hit on Oskar Sundqvist:
It is very rare that I editorialize when looking at hits and possible pending suspensions (and you know one’s coming for Wilson), but Tom Wilson has been a constant repeat offender at this kind of shit for years.
