The St. Louis Blues have sent Joel Edmundson, the rookie defenseman, down to the AHL to get some time with the Chicago Wolves.
To balance this move, the Blues have brought defenseman Petteri Lindbohm back to the NHL from the Wolves of the AHL. Lindbohm was previously in St. Louis last season when he played in 23 games and totaled 2 goals and an assist. Edmundson has played in 23 games for the St. Louis Blues this season and only notched 2 assists on the year.
Edmundson could use some more seasoning in the AHL before making his eventual return to the NHL.
