Ernie Banks used to be famous for saying let’s play two. That phrase is long in the rear view mirror for the St. Louis Blues.
When it was first announced that the St. Louis Blues had several games being postponed against the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild, it made sense that they’d keep playing the Arizona Coyotes.
Both teams had common opponents, thus the schedule opened up for both. It allowed both teams to continue playing, to not gain rust, and also open up both schedules for later in the season.
