According to Jeremy Rutherford, St. Louis Blues beat writer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Jori Lehtera has been sidelined for six to eight weeks after surgery on his ankle for a nagging injury.
According to Rutherford, the injury occurred late in the season, and Lehtera took recommended time to rest it instead of opting for surgery and ending his season, perhaps early. The rest did not fully heal his ankle, however, and he eventually decided to have the surgery.
