The second round sped by and the St. Louis Blues had one pick within it, with which they chose defender Vince Dunn to go at no. 56. Come the fourth round, the Blues had two picks available to them, the first at no. 94.
The no. 94 pick was acquired in 2013 from the Edmonton Oilers (along with Ivan Barbashev and Magnus Pajaarvi and a second-round 2015 pick) in exchange for David Perron and their 2015 third-round pick.
With their first pick in Round 4 they selected right-handed center Adam Musil from the Red Deer Rebels. We wrote on Musil in the same mock draft in April in which we talked about Vince Dunn.
