Brayden Schenn has been near, if not at, the top of the St. Louis Blues leaders in points and goals in his two years wearing the Blue note, and even if he has a lackluster 2020 campaign, he is due for a substantial pay raise.
Schenn has been nothing short of phenomenal for St. Louis after being acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers in July of 2017. The Schenn trade may have been the most celebrated trade Doug Armstrong has ever made during his tenure in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Blues sent Jori Lehtera, and two first-round picks in exchange for Schenn, and it has turned out to be almost as fruitful as the Ryan O’Reilly trade made two summers ago.
