The St. Louis Blues have had enough injuries this season and they are about to get their number one two-way forward back in Alex Steen. The Blues have played fifteen games since the injury to Alex Steen and have gone 10-5, oddly enough they have scored three goals or more in nine of those games.
However, during that time the penalty kill unit has not been as sharp as it was before, so having Steen back will be pivotal to the Blues’ special teams. As not only will the PK unit benefit from his return, having Steen back at the point on the PP unit will allow that unit to gel even more as the Stanley Cup Playoffs approach.
