The day before the Ottawa Senators begin their playoff series against the Montreal Canadiens, the team found of that they had lost one of their own.
Mark Reeds, an assistant coach for the past four seasons, passed away after a battle with cancer. He had recently been hospitalized with pneumonia.
Reeds was 55.
