The NHL Department of Player Safety held a hearing with Ryan Reaves today regarding his hit on Tennyson Monday night during the Blues game against the Sharks. Reaves hit Tennyson as the Shark's player just finished playing the puck and was facing the glass with his back to the play. The hit to Tennyson's shoulder drove his head into the glass and he crumpled, bleeding on the ice. He was, however, able to get up and leave the ice with assistance after a couple of minutes.
