That’s the only word Blues forward Ty Rattie could think of to describe his first NHL goal.
The funny thing was, Rattie probably dreamed of this moment since his childhood, and it wasn’t the forehand, backhand, deke-the-goalie-out-of-the-crease goal he envisioned. Instead, Rattie was parked in front of the net when Kevin Shattenkirk’s blast hit him in the thumb before going past Devils goalie Keith Kinkaid.
“I had a big smile on my face,” Rattie said after the game. “Even the next shift I had a smile on my face.
