TORONTO -- The Toronto Maple Leafs traded forward Nikita Soshnikov to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night for 2019 fourth round draft pick.
The 24-year-old Russian is currently on injured reserve, but is expected to be added to the Blues' roster once he's cleared by team doctors upon his arrival in St. Louis. He has seven goals and 10 assists in 19 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies. He also dressed for three games with the Leafs, and has appeared in 70 NHL games with seven goals and seven assists.
