Ken Hitchcock re-signed with the St. Louis Blues for a one-year term as head coach yesterday, and everyone and their mother has something to say about it. Mainly, that he was the least successful he’s ever been on the Blues, leading them to a crushing defeat in the first round of the playoffs to a team that was then swept in four by Chicago.
At least the previous years the Blues lost to a powerhouse like Chicago or L.A.
But when you get everyone in the hockey world sounding off on the same subject, you’re bound to bump up against an interesting thought or two.
