Nothing is ever easy with the St. Louis Blues. They haven’t played at full capacity yet this series; every game has seen stretches of flat play where they’ve had problems creating momentum. Four out of the five games so far, however, have seen stretches of quality play that gets the Jets on their heels. When the Blues turn on the effort, it’s easy to visualize the second round.
That explains why most fans on Thursday night weren’t seeing the second round until the last half of the third period. The Blues tying it at two was a pleasant surprise.
