Adam Cracknell, formerly of the St. Louis Blues and their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, signed a one-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday, as TVA’s Renaud Lavoie reported via Twitter.

Cracknell’s deal will pay him $575,000 if he remains in the NHL for the full season. His history with the NHL suggests that he will not have much success at cracking the lineup permanently, however, and will likely spend a portion of the season in the NHL, and the majority of it on the Utica Comets.
