Former Blue Todd Ewen Passes Away

The Blues released this statement yesterday on the passing of former enforcer Todd Ewin. Ewin played for the Blues between 1986-1990.

Ewen was drafted in 1984, 168th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers. He was traded to the St. Louis Blues, where he spent four seasons and amassed 493 penalty minutes.

He also had a feud with Bob Probert, which was started by a punch:

Ewen was traded in 1990 to the Montreal Canadiens, where he would win a Stanley Cup in 1993. He then was traded to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim as protection for Teemu Selanne.
