Martin Brodeur is 43 years old and played 22 seasons in the NHL, but his new job as assistant general manager with the Blues has turned back his clock.
“It's an exciting time for me,” he said Thursday. “I'm a bit like kid. It's something new for me. I'm excited to jump on board.”
Brodeur will serve a variety of roles as the assistant to GM Doug Armstrong and Armstrong made it sound like no job would be too small for the three-time Stanley Cup champ.
“He's going to move to St. Louis, be here fulltime,” Armstrong said.
