It took just four minutes for the Blues to get on the board. Vladimir Tarasenko won a battle for a loose puck along the boards. Tarasenko passed the puck back to Niko Mikkola. Mikkola fired the puck on net. The puck seemed to hit someone or something on the way to the net. Devan Dubnyk wasn’t able to stop the shot giving Mikkola his first career NHL goal. Tarasenko notched his first point of the year as well. You also get extra ‘Senko hugs for your first goal. Neat.
