Less than four minutes into the game, the Avalanche scored their first power play goal of the night. Former Chicago Blackhawk Brandon Saad was right in front of the net to bang home a rebound chance. Jordan Binnington was able to make a couple of saves. The puck bounced off of the post and Saad was there to finish.
