ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed forward Jeremy Welsh to a one-year, two-way contract.
Welsh, 27, appeared in 75 games with the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves last season, ranking fourth on the club with 41 points including 20 goals and 21 assists. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward also added two points (one goal, one assist) in five postseason contests.
Overall, the Bayfield, Ontario native has appeared in 25 career NHL regular season games, including stints with Vancouver and Carolina, totaling two points (one goal, one assist) and 10 penalty minutes.
