Selman, a free agent out of the University of Michigan, will be assigned to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Selman, 22, has spent the past four seasons at Michigan. In 2015-16, the 6-foot, 198-pound forward dressed in 38 games, ranking sixth on the club with 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists).
For his collegiate career, the Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, native accumulated 67 points (29 goals, 38 assists) and 50 penalty minutes across 113 games.
