The Blues solidified their goaltending today by signing former Predator Carter Hutton to a two year deal. Doug Armstrong hinted at maybe attempting another 1A/1B tandem in net, but the chances of signing a 1B at the same term and value as Brian Elliott was slim to none. It was going to be the Jake Allen Show the second Elliott was dealt to the Calgary Flames at the draft.
From the Blues' press release:
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed goaltender Jake Allen to a four-year, $17.
