The St. Louis Blues recalled defenseman Tyler Tucker from the AHL’s Utica Comets on Thursday afternoon. Blues general manager Doug Armstrong made the announcement on Thursday.
Tucker is now 21 years old. The Blues originally selected him with the 200th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL Draft. He stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 205 lbs. He’s a native of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Tucker appeared in 27 games with the Comets this season. He recorded seven points (one goal, six assists) and 34 penalty minutes.
Tucker spent most of his junior hockey career with the OHL’s Barrie Colts, where he recorded 152 points (35 goals, 117 assists) and 330 penalty minutes in 244 games overall.
