ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled defenseman Chris Butler from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Butler, 28, appeared in 33 games with the Blues last season, logging nine points (three goals, six assists) and 23 penalty minutes. The St. Louis native, who posted an assist in his only game with Chicago this season, has accumulated 84 points (13 goals, 71 assists) and 181 penalty minutes in 382 career NHL regular season games.
In addition, forward Robby Fabbri has been placed on injured reserve.
