Blues fans learned this off-season that not even the locker room was injury proof. Patrik Berglund injured his shoulder, and will be out until probably late January, leaving the Blues short one of their top nine.
The Blues replaced him with Robby Fabbri, and things were going fine for exactly one and a half games, until Fabbri was knocked out with a concussion.
Kevin Shattenkirk was the next to go. Then Paul Stastny, out for a fifth of the season with a broken foot. Now, it's Jaden Schwartz, out for at least three months with a broken ankle sustained in practice.
