If you were curious as to how long it would take the Blues to make their first big round of cuts this pre-season, your question has been answered. The team cut thirteen players today, distributing them to either the AHL or their junior teams.
The Springfield Thunderbirds will be receiving Tanner Kaspick, Mathias Laferriere, Hugh McGing, Matthew Peca, Nolan Stevens, Nathan Todd, Alexei Toropchenko and Keean Washkurak. Also assigned to the team are defensemen Josh Wesley and Griffen Luce.
This year’s first round draft pick, Zack Bolduc, will be returning to the Quebec Remparts, while Tyson Galloway will be headed back to the Calgary Hitmen and Will Cranley will be returning to the Ottawa 67’s.
