On Sunday, Ty Rattie was with the Blues, a healthy scratch, as the team was eliminated by the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
On Friday, he's hoping not to go through that for the second time in a week.
Rattie was returned to the Blues' top minor-league team, the Chicago Wolves, for the AHL playoffs, and that team faces elimination on Friday night. The Wolves trail the Utica Comets, the top farm team of the Vancouver Canucks, 2 games to 1 in a best-of-five series.
"I welcome the second chance," Rattie said by phone on Thursday.
