Finally, a decision on the Blues’ starting goaltender is expected to be revealed Wednesday.

A simple “no, not yet” was head coach Ken Hitchcock’s response Tuesday when asked if he had chosen either Brian Elliott or Jake Allen as the starter for the team’s first-round series against Minnesota that begins Thursday at Scottrade Center.

Hitchcock insisted that neither goalie had been told anything yet, and that was in line with the way the Blues issued their assignments all season.
