The last time that Jake Allen saw the ice in a Blues game, it was in relief of Jordan Binnington in the Blues’ game three loss during the Stanley Cup Final. Before that, he saw the ice on April 3rd, an overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.
He also played on March 14th, which was the last time the Blues were in Ottawa. He was stellar, stopping 20 Ottawa shots and allowing one goal... in a loss.
To the worst team in the NHL.
A loss to the Senators right now wouldn’t be quite as bad, because the season’s started and it’s still young.
