Thursday evening’s game against the Los Vegas Golden Knights had to be postponed due to at least one positive COVID-19 test outside of the coaching staff. That test, reports state, belonged to former Blues captain Alex Pietrangelo. There has been discussion regarding if Tuesday evening’s game should’ve even have been played. The coaching staff was quarantined under the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol, and it’s hard to imagine that they did not have contact with players before kicking back positive tests. Pietrangelo said that he was following protocol and didn’t have any contact with Blues players before the game, but it’s unclear if there was a possibility that the Blues players were exposed regardless.
