ST. LOUIS – Scottrade Center announced today that the venue will begin implementing the use of metal detection screening at all St. Louis Blues hockey games this season, beginning with the first preseason home game on Tuesday, September 22. The measure is part of the National Hockey League’s implementation of mandatory metal detectors at all NHL arenas in 2015.
The walk-through metal detectors will be used to screen all guests at all points of entry. There are three public entrances at Scottrade Center: Kiel Parking Garage (Gate 1) is located on the west end of the arena, Hall of Fame Plaza (Gate 2) is located on the south end of the arena and 14th Street (Gate 3) is located on the east end of the arena.
