The Blues traded the 29th and 76th overall picks in this year’s entry draft to the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 25th overall pick, and with that pick they selected German-born Dominik Bokk. Bokk currently plays for Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League. The 18 year old right-winger comes in at 6’1” and 176 pounds so there’s some room for growth.
Bokk was ranked 12th among European players by NHL Central Scouting and 28th overall by ISS hockey. TSN had him slated 18th overall.
Brian will check in in a bit with some in-depth analysis here (he is far, far better than I am with prospects), so for right now, have a highlight reel.
