The NHL’s All-Star weekend is under full swing, and tonight’s skills competition is going to be different than it usually is? How?
The winner in each of the events wins a good $25,000 and some bragging rights, so this might up the intensity of what amounts to an exhibition of skills. The NHL has also upped the technology used in each of the events. Gone are the styrofoam targets in the accuracy shooting competition. Now the targets light up randomly, testing not just accuracy but accuracy and snap decision making. Even the passing challenge has some light up targets that will fire off randomly.
