The St. John’s Men’s Basketball team took a tough loss against DePaul University Saturday night at Carnesecca Arena. It was the Red Storm’s second game against DePaul and their first loss against them this season. While the Red Storm were outscored 88-83, the talent displayed on the court should not go unnoticed.
Throughout the matchup St. John’s consistently caught up to DePaul’s offensive runs, tying the game three times, but ultimately would fall back into the losing spot.
Sophomore guard Julian Champagnie opened the first half of the game for the Red Storm with a three-pointer, and by the end of the half was the only player with double digits in points.
